Maybe it is still primarily exhaust driven, but with electric “assist” at lower shaft speeds?

I read about it a little afterwards, it's an electric compressor that spins up to like 70000 rpm that deals only with the low end. It's inline between the turbo and the intake somewhere I forget if it's before or after the intercooler.
